This page and the pages that follow outline the cost of each course required to be paid when you obtain your real estate license

There are 3 courses for the initial period of training called

Course 1

Course 2

Course 3 general and course 3 advanced

Course 3 Advanced is split into two categories,

Course 3 advanced residential or you could take course 3 advanced commercial

After completing the above courses you become registered with RECO and you begin your 2 year articling period for Ontario Real Estate

During this articling period you must must complete three additional courses to be eligible to renew your salesperson registration.

The first course is mandatory and is called Real Property Law

and the other remaining elective courses:

• Principles of Appraisal
• Real Estate Investment Analysis
• Principles of Mortgage Financing
• Principles of Property Management

Once you have finished your course 1, 2 and 3 and course 3 advanced plus your articling segment plus you additional elective you then take the courses necessary to become a Real Estate Broker in Ontario
