Cost for Course 3 for Ontario Real Estate in obtaining your real estate license in Ontario
This page and the pages that follow outline the cost of each course required to be paid when you obtain your real estate license There are 3 courses for the initial period of training called course 1, course 2 and course 3 general and course 3 advanced residential or you could take course 3 advanced commercial Course 3 for Ontario Real EstateCourse 3 General - The Real Estate Transaction & Course 3 Advanced - The Residential Real Estate Transaction The total Fee: Course 3 for Ontario Real Estate General is $330 Course 3 Advanced Residential $330 Pre-requisites: Successful completion of Course 1 and Course 2 for Ontario Real Estate This course will provide a detailed overview of the real estate transaction, from listing agreement through to the final sale. Students in the pre-registration segment of the program must complete Course 3 General and either Course 3 Advanced Residential OR Course 3 Advanced Commercial. The remaining Course 3 Advanced not selected must be taken during the Articling segment. Please note: Course 3 General need not be repeated during the Articling segment. The e-Learning portion is followed by 40 hours of classroom work. Correspondence plus 40 hour Classroom Students who enroll for the e-Learning or correspondence segment must, at the same time, select and enroll for the subsequent 40 hour classroom segment to take place following the suggested completion date (approximately 30 days as noted on the e-Learning and correspondence schedule below). 80 hour Classroom How to Enroll Call the OREA Real Estate College at 416-391-6732 or 1-866-411-6732. Note: 40-Hour Classroom Schedule There are three study methods of study for course 3 1. E-Learning & Classroom for Ontario Real Estate The e-Learning study method is available for Course 3 General only. Students who enroll for the e-Learning segment must, at the same time, select and enroll for the subsequent 40 hour classroom segment to take place following the suggested completion date (approximately 30 days as noted on the e-Learning schedule). and 2. Correspondence & Classroom The correspondence study method is available for Course 3 General only. Students who enroll for the correspondence segment must, at the same time, select and enroll for the subsequent 40 hour classroom segment to take place following the suggested completion date (approximately 30 days as noted on the correspondence schedule). 3. Classroom The 80 hour classroom session will cover Course 3 General and Course 3 Advanced Residential or Course 3 General and Course 3 Advanced Commercial, depending on the course selected at the time of enrolment. Instructors use a combination of teaching methods with particular emphasis on case studies and problem-solving exercises. Instructors (experienced practitioners in real estate and related disciplines), meet strict standards established by the OREA Real Estate College. The classroom promotes discussion between students and with knowledgeable instructors, and gives students the opportunity to clarify, expand, and discuss course materials and issues. Classroom instruction is mandatory for selected courses or portions thereof, while optional in others. Classroom students are expected to attend 100 percent of scheduled classroom hours. If attendance is less than 70 percent, you will not be eligible to write the final examination.
