The selling price of property is considered public information. If you are interested in knowing what a particular house in your neighbourhood sold for, I can tell you! If you don’t know the full address of the home, often the street name is enough information for me to send you some information about a recent home that sold.
Extra information may also be helpful. For example: “Detached home near end of street with green garage on Middlebury Drive, just sold this week.”
Knowing what your home is worth and neighbourhood House Values is important information to have if you are thinking of selling your home now or in the near future.
