FSBO Tip 22. If all else fails go to where the realtors hang out.

This is one article in a series of over 30 articles that will help you when selling your home privately in Ontario. When using these simple FSBO (For Sale by Owner) techniques that I have outlined below, these tips will help you sell your home without the assistance of a real estate agent. Just as many other people have successfully sold their home on their own in the past, you can too. It will possibly save you thousands, but it takes a great deal of work and firm commitment on your part to succeed in selling your home privately in Ontario. You may ask why I would provide such a series of indepth articles. The reason is simple. I want you to have all the information to make the best decision for yourself. You may sell privately, but need an agent to help you buy your next home, I hope you remember how helpful I was in helping you sell and use my services for your purchase. I wish you all the best of success. If after a while, you're not getting the results that you were hoping for you can always go to the MLS option. This doesn't mean that you have to list with a real estate agent or broker. As a private party, you can list your home with your local multiple listing service. Usually this cost a fee but by doing this you automatically expose your house to thousands of potential prospects all over the country. The upside is that you should be able to sell your home in short order.

The obvious downside will be that you will have to pay co-op to an agent. Only in unique situations would the cost of co-opting be virtually impossible, due to low equity or some other extenuating circumstance. These FSBO tips will give you a solid foundation and a firm understanding on how to successfully sell your own home. There are many specific ideas and recommendations that are beyond the scope of this article especially when it comes to pricing your home to sell, doing the preparation and correct staging your home plus all of the items outlined in other articles throughout this website. You must do your due diligence and research and prepare properly when you are thinking of selling your home on your own. In the long run,if you do it properly, it's possible that it will make things easier for you and and you possibly could end up saving thousands or losing thousands if not done correctly.
